WORKSHOP ON HEALTHY FOOD

“Take care of your body; it’s the only place you have to live”
Healthy food contains balanced amount of nutrients. It makes the body active and strong. To motivate the kids to follow a healthy diet for healthy life, a workshop was conducted at Mother Divine Public School (Nursery Wing) for both LKG and UKG classes where the little buds were informed about the advantages of healthy eating, balanced diet and the various nutrients found in the food items. The kiddos were amused and chuffed to see wonderful power point presentations on the same. The teachers had well demonstrated the proper way of washing the hands before and after every meal. As a famous quote says, “Let food be the medicine and medicine be the food” so our little munchkins also took a pledge to eat only healthy food and stay away from junk food. The students also took a pledge to eat only healthy food and stay away from junk food. At the end a questionnaire session was held which was related to the healthy and junk food some tips also have been shared with the young eaters on how to be more active and fit.
