WORKSHOP OF SAFE TOUCH
Mother Divine Public School (Nursery Wing) conducted a virtual workshop on Safe Touch which aimed at creating awareness among teachers to sensitize LKG AND UKG kids about good & bad touch. Teachers enabled kids to identify their trusted circle of family members as well as took a step further for these little munchkins to understood the No, go & tell strategy. The interactive workshop also dwelled on the urgent need to empower young children and to report any abuse, as children often keep abuse a secret. At the end of the session, each child answered a questionnaire to review their understanding of good and bad touch. It was a great initiative to spread awareness about one of the most sensitive issues in today’s time for children to understand the prevailing truth. Therefore, the workshop proved fruitful in making them future-ready.
