‘We all are aware that Information Technology (IT) has gained a boom in our day to day lives. It will not be wrong to say that it has rather become an integral part of the society as a whole. It emerges as a sector which always has job opportunities, wider career prospects and a tremendous scope of exposure for in view of learning. The increasing role of IT, CBSE has introduced with IT as a vocational course for the students of class IX.
The school is offering the subject with immediate effect as an initiative for all the students studying in class IX in the current academic session i.e. 2020-2021. In this course, the students will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of digital documentation, digital spreadsheet, digital presentation, database management and internet security. This will assist the students to start learning at the right stage and secure their future with vocational subjects. There shall be no extra fee to be paid by the students for opting IT.
We urge you to encourage your wards to take the maximum advantage of the course not only as a subject but also as a platform to explore new horizons in the future. If any query, feel free to contact the school authorities on any school working day.
