Good hygiene perpetuates a nice image of an individual in the society. It is as simple as hand washing which can reduce infections and effect of harmful bacteria. Keeping ourselves clean is an important aspect to stay fit, healthy and germs free. One of the most exposed areas in our body are hands and to make kids aware about personal health and hygiene a workshop on hand wash was conducted by the teachers of Mother Divine public School(Nursery Wing) in which the tiny tots were brief about the significance of it. The little Munchkins were also explained how bacteria spreads through our different sense organs. The workshop aimed at making children aware about different ways of washing hands and importance of using soaps and sanitizers. A practical demo was also given for a better understanding of washing hands. Apart from this non fire cooking activity was done in classes in the form of healthy sandwich making. The kids were quite intrigued and enthusiastic about the various aspects of health and hygiene. Thus it was an interactive session.
In the nut shell the school would end up by saying that
“Good health is not something we can buy. It is like a crown and a real wealth, one must preserve and take care of it for the rest of our life.”
