Title : Workshop on Safe Touch
Report – Good Touch & Bad Touch
Date – 3rd September, 2019
Class: I-V
The children were trained on the topic of touch and how one can identify between safe and unsafe, good and bad touch. The session began with an introduction of the topic and discussion of the various kinds of touches. Also how to identify between a good touch and bad touch. The kids were also explained that they have the ownership of their body, so no other person can define good or bad for them. Any touch that makes them uncomfortable can be taken as bad touch. The kids were also shown video related to the topic. Having a safe circle and identifying it, is important. The students were also empowered with the ways in which they can safeguard and protect themselves, such as:
- Shout and say “NO”!
- Run away!
- Talk to Parents, Teacher or Counselor!

Feedback:
It was a great session, with full participation of the kids. In the beginning students were a little hesitant and were passing smiles to each other, but after some discussion and after watching the video and presentation, they were comfortable in discussing about the topic. They really enjoyed a lot and also asked questions related to real life situations.
