NATIONAL SPORTS DAY
To commemorate the National sports day & to pay the tribute to Legendary Hockey wizard, Major Dhyan Chand a cricket match was organized in Primary wing of Mother Divine Public School on 29th August 2019 i.e. Thursday. Special invitees Dr. Bhupinder Singh, Former Deputy Director of Education & Academic Director Mr. A.K. Bakshi commenced the celebration with ribbon cutting ceremony. The students participated enthusiastically and played very well. The match was initiated by the guests of events. Along with the match different apparatus used in EduSports & Physical Education displayed in the ground which were viewed, appreciated & experienced by the students on this special Day. Different activities conducted where in the students got the opportunity to view & play different games. The winner team was applauded & awarded a “Winning Trophy” by the managing Director ,Mr. Manan Budhraja. The event & day ignited a spark amongst everyone for sports and marked the golden words spoken by Milkha Singh, “Hard work, Will Power and Dedication, for a man with these qualities, Sky is the limit”
